Wow! The holiday season is upon us, and a new year is right around the corner. This year has just flown by and I've been checking my personal progress for this year. Who am I kidding, what progress? Haha!! Well, actually I made a little progress. Way less than I had planned, but a little progress is better than none. I'll take it! But there's time to talk about that, I want to focus on the upcoming holiday season.

Let's Chat!

So - I'm a little excited, and I'm a little sad. Excited because I love this time of year, and a little sad because so many people are spending this holiday season alone, hurting, or in situtions they'd rather not be in. That's hard. I know what that feels like, and I want to pray for all of those who are going through something. I know it hurts, but hang in there. Don't give up on you. 🙏🏽 Heavenly Father, I pray for all of your people who are hurting, lonely, going through a tough time, or just need some encouragement. Hold them close to you, cover them and keep them safe. Let them know some kind of way that you are with them. Keep them in perfect peace, even when they don't understand what's happening in their life right now. Please let them know in Your special way that YOU love them whether they feel it or not. Feed them if they're hungry, keep them warm if they're cold, meet that need they're so desperately hoping or praying for. Lift up their head, and pull them out of that dark place. Let them enjoy this season of giving, and please send someone across their path to bless them in such a way that they'll realize it could only be You. Thank you Lord, we're forever grateful! You are our God, and we are Your people. Thanks for all the little things You do too! To God be all the glory, in Jesus Name - Amen! 🙏

God bless you and your family!

Holiday Tips!

  • Remember, Jesus is the reason for the season!

  • Try not to get caught up in the commercialism of Christmas and get in a lot of debt!

  • Shop around for the best deal!

  • If you can, take some time to make a gift - like a dish, a scarf, or a photo album, and yes digitally is acceptable. 😄

  • Again, it's the season of giving - not just for gifts, but for giving thanks too!

  • Stay humble, and remember others during this time of the year. So many people are struggling with life, trying to survive. So be vigilant! 🙏🏽

Lastly, wherever you are in the world, however you celebrate, or not - stay safe, and I pray for peace, love, and joy in your life!

See you soon,

Jae ❤️
